Ubuntu Tweak on Ubuntu 11.04 (change login screen & desktop icons)

Hi, if you are a Ubuntu 11.04 user, sometimes you may wondering how to customise your Ununtu according to your feelings... like different login screens, different desktop icons... and like there may be more..  as a solution for that you can use Tweak.

There are more things can be done with Tweak. Here I'm not going to give all the information but to give some important things which helped to me too.

1.  Change the login screen with Tweak

2. Change the Desktop icon with Tweak



First you need to download Tweak ...

Download Tweak for old versions of Ubuntu from here...

After downloading the ubuntu-tweak_0.5.14-1~natty1_all.deb file, double click it to install. Then it will be open with Ubuntu software center. Then click install.



Start Tweak .. it will look like this..

To change the login screen in ubuntu click Login Settings .Under that click Unlock button on right bottom corner. Then you will be able to change them as you wish :-) .To change the Desktop icons go to Desktop icon settings, then you will be able to configure them. :-)



There are lot of things that can be done with Tweak .. It's very easy ,so you can try tweak your self.. :D

A shell script for Renaming large number of files in Linux

Hi, today I'm going to Blog about a very simple shell script, that may help you guys a lot.NO big deal, its very simple one.
